I've had devices dead on arrival (it happens I know) and I've had to update firmware right out of the box. The ZW-ED device "connects" to the ZW-REC as in the blue LED indicator blinks 5 times and shuts off indicating a connection per the manual, but doesnt actually connect. When I tried to install that software the installer tried to update my internet settings (something I cannot do due to company policy). When I have talked to the people over at Omegas data acquisition department, I was told that they "no longer support the onboard dashboard" and that I need to use the "Omega Enterprise Dashboard". Getting the ZW-ED device to communicate with the ZW-REC device seems to be a near impossibility. Nothing but problems with these devices I purchaced several of these along with a bunch of the ZW-ED devices. Note: Because of transmission frequency regulations, the ZW series products may only be used in the United States, Canada, Europe, China, Japan, Korea, and Brazil.Ī Complete Wireless System Requires At Least:Ĭase 1: One XW End Device (XW-EDA), One ZW Receiver (ZW-REC), and One or Two Analog Sensors (TC/RTD/mA/V)Įxample: 3 XW-ED, 6 K-Type Thermocouples and 1 ZW-REC for a 3 zone wireless temperature measurement systemĬase 2: One ZW End Device (ZW-ED), One Digital Probe (zTPx-P, ZTHPx-P or zBTx-P) and One ZW Receiver (ZW-REC).Įxample: 3 ZW-ED, 3 zTP1-P and 1 ZW-REC for a 3 zone wireless temperature measurement systemĬase 3: One UW Series End Device (UWTC-x, UWRTD-x, UWIR-x, UWRH-x, UWPH-x) and One ZW Receiver (ZW-REC).Įxample: UWRH-2 and ZW-REC for a complete wireless RH system UW Series (UWTC, UWRTD, UWIR, UWRH, UWPH): Up to 127 End DevicesĪgency Approval: ECCN 5A9/30/EU LVD 2014/35/EU RED 2014/53/EU FCC ID TY0JN5168M5 OMEGA offers a complete wireless system solution supporting a wide range of application requirements in various industries, like Aerospace, Food Processing, Laboratory Research. You can monitor and record a range of remote sensors, including Thermocouple, RTD, infrared, Ambient Temperature, Relative Humidity and Barometric Pressure over an Ethernet network with no special software - just your web browser. Email and Text alarms can be sent using the optional Omega Enterprise Gateway (OEG) software. This built-in web server supports encryption to protect the sensitive data.

It connects directly to your Ethernet network and displays data on the built in Web Page without the need for any software. The OMEGA™ ZW-REC wireless receiver is designed to communicate up to 1000m* (3280') outdoor and around 100m* (328') indoor to various wireless sensors/transmitters.
